🧠 KEY CONCEPT: The Database Scalability Math
Before the migration, every protected request required multiple authentication/authorization queries (reading session keys, fetching user data, loading roles/permissions, checking project membership).
Load = R × Q (where R = requests/sec, Q = queries/request)
After the migration, authentication becomes stateless at the API boundary, validating a signed JWT locally.
Load = I × T + Resource-specific queries (where I = token-issuance/sec, T = claim-assembly queries)
For a workload of 1,000 req/sec, this shifts the repeated authorization load from the request frequency directly down to token-issuance frequency—reducing thousands of queries per second!
🤖 HOW AI ACCELERATES DEPLOYMENT:

- Mapping session cookie dependencies across the entire codebase.

⚠️ THE AI TRAP: "Local Correctness"
AI is incredibly fast, but it can write code that looks perfect in isolation while failing systemically. An agent might hide a session-cookie workaround inside a test helper to get tests to pass without actually using bearer tokens. To control AI agents, you need:
1. A highly descriptive Software Requirements Specification (SRS) with explicit inclusions/exclusions.
2. Robust black-box End-to-End (E2E) tests that test the actual HTTP boundary rather than internal mocks.
